Pickling Paste is colourless, viscous, water soluble, highly concentrate paste which is used to clean weld seams and surrounding areas and is applied with brush.

DBP is also used as an ectoparasiticide.Dibutyl phthalate is used as solvents.DBP is used in a range of industrial applications as a plasticiser in resins and polymers. DBP is also used as a softener in adhesives, varnishes and printing inks.

Copper slag is a by-product of copper extraction by smelting. During smelting, impurities become slag which floats on the molten metal. Slag that is quenched in water produces angular granules which are disposed of as waste or utilized as discussed below.
