Hydrogen peroxide is a colourless, non flammable, water soluble liquid used as a bleaching agent with formula H2O2. Hydrogen peroxide is a very useful chemical since it can act as both a reducing agent as well as an oxidizing agent.  

Hydrogen peroxide is used in certain waste-water treatment processes to remove organic impurities, for the sterilization of various surfaces, including surgical tools and various domestic uses. It demonstrates broad-spectrum efficacy against viruses, bacteria, yeasts, and bacterial spores.

Sodium selenite is the inorganic compound with the formula Na2SeO3. This salt is a colourless solid. The pentahydrate Na2SeO3(H2O)5 is the most common water-soluble selenium compound.
Sodium selenite is the disodium salt of selenious acid. It is used therapeutically to supply the trace element selenium and is prepared by the reaction of SELENIUM DIOXIDE with SODIUM HYDROXIDE. Sodium Selenite is an inorganic form of the trace element selenium with potential antineoplastic activity.

Applications

Zinc gluconate is the zinc salt of gluconic acid. It is an ionic compound consisting of two anions of gluconate for each zinc(II) cation. Zinc gluconate is a popular form for the delivery of zinc as a dietary supplement, or the name zincum gluconicum is used when the product is described as homeopathic.
